BEFORE YOU ORDER

If you have heavy waste (such as rubble or soil), it's best to use Cubie1. This ensures that you stay within the weight limit.

In the unlikely event that the weight is above 1 tonne, there is an excess weight fee of $45/100 Kg.

If you have heavy waste (such as rubble or soil), it's best to use Cubie1. This ensures that you stay within the weight limit.

Cubie3 is commonly used for household clean-ups or gardening projects.

No permit is needed if the bag is placed on private property.

WHAT CAN YOU PUT IN?

Most common waste — including household items, garden waste, soil, bulky items, and renovation waste such as rubble, concrete, tiles and plasterboard.

CUBIE is used for renovations, clean-ups, moving house and gardening projects.

Hazardous or restricted items aren’t allowed — this includes asbestos, chemicals, paints, oils, batteries, gas bottles, tyres, and food waste. If you’re unsure, check with us before filling.

DELIVERY & SET UP

Unfold it, place it on a flat surface, and open it fully so it holds its shape. Then you’re ready to fill.

We recommend rolling the sides of the bag down outwards to keep them upright. As you fill the bag, gradually roll the sides back up.

The CUBIE bag includes a drawstring cover to secure the contents. While filling, it's best to keep this cover folded down over the outside of the bag.

Place your CUBIE on a flat, accessible surface like a driveway, front yard, or other clear space. The truck needs easy access to collect it without obstacles around it.

COLLECTION

When you request collection, we typically pick up the bag the next business day. Our preferred collection method is deploying a crane truck, but it will depend on the situation.

No — as long as there are no known access issues, you don’t need to be home for delivery or collection.

Typically within 1 business day of your collection request.

There is no time limit. Request collection when you have filled the bag.

AFTER COLLECTION

CUBIE operates within Australia’s regulated waste management system and aims to minimise landfill wherever possible.

After collection, your waste is transported to licensed and accredited waste and recycling facilities. At these facilities, materials are assessed and processed so that recyclable and recoverable waste streams are diverted from landfill whenever possible. The exact outcome depends on the type and condition of the waste.

CUBIE works with approved operators to ensure waste is handled safely, legally, and responsibly.
