Tips for a smooth and easy collection
Where does your bag need to be placed?
Place the CUBIE on your property within 4 metres of the road or driveway, provided the driveway is at least 4 metres wide. It's important not to place the bag on council property unless you have obtained a permit. To avoid damaging the bag, place it correctly from the outset rather than dragging it to another location. Make sure no waste is above the top edge of the bag.
Can't meet the placement requirements? Contact us to discuss alternative placement options.
What happens after you book collection?
Once you book your collection our team will schedule your pickup for the next business day.
You will receive a confirmation with the collection date. Just ensure your CUBIE is accessible from the street and not blocked in. No need to be home. Our drivers will collect it quickly and safely and that's it - your waste is gone.
What happens if things don't go to plan?
If something comes up - like access issues, an overfilled CUBIE, or prohibited materials - our team will be in touch to let you know. We'll clearly explain the issue and work with you to find a solution quickly. Our goal is to keep things simple and get your collection sorted with as little hassle as possible.
What can't you put in?
X Food organics
X Batteries

X Liquids (paints, oils, solvents, poisons, chemicals, etc)
X Hazards (asbestos, styrofoam, chemical containers, fibro sheets, insulation, etc)
X Tyres
X Gas bottles
X Medical waste
X Mattresses
X Synthetic grass
X Carpets
X Stumps
X Sharp items
Do not use CUBIE3 if you have a lot of heavy waste (e.g concrete, bricks, soil). For that, please use CUBIE1.
How do you qualify for a CUBIE rebate?
When you sort waste into separate CUBIEs - like keeping bricks and concrete separate from garden waste - it makes recycling easier and more efficient. This reduces disposal costs, and we pass those savings back to you as a rebate. It's a simple way to save money while supporting smarter waste management.
Rebate streams:
Clean straight brick
Clean segregated concrete (under 500mm)
Brick and concrete
Mixed heavy (brick, concrete, asphalt, sand and soil)
